Oh, FUCK.
[He covers his mouth, continuing with muffled coughs and sounds of pain for a few moments until the coughing gradually dies out. There's a short silence aside from some uncomfortable breathing as he waits to make sure it's really subsided.]
Nnh. Jeez, all right, let's-- start that over.
[Forcing a bright tone as if nothing just happened.]

I... really don't want to ruin the GREAT RELATIONSHIP we've had lately, but you wouldn't mind letting your old man crash on the couch for a little bit like a month or so, would you?
I don't think they really want me to stay in this hospital for my whole recovery, and my apartment obviously... isn't there anymore.And there aren't really any sexy nurses here like I imagined so it's a whole lot less fun that I liked to think.
